``Motorstock Review

So here it is finally, a little write up from us about our little Auto test at Motorstock.

Well we had better start by thanking all of those that took part and paid there small entry fee which all went to charity. Also to all of you that did step up and have a go on the day, well done for recognising that it was an autotest not a speed trial or a time attack course!

The day went pretty smoothly by all accounts although there was a stage at about 7.30am when we did not think that we would get it altogether in time, but we managed it, and at least we were there early hey Jono! After a whole day of people flying around we can report that we had no big off's and only one near miss, you know who you are and Aggy maybe try standing behind the fence with your camera next time!

So after running timed laps all day the final came down to a little blue Corsa, a scooby sport and very well sorted mk1 escort, with the corsa getting a little over excited around the last cone slalom down the end of the track it really came down to Jason in the scooby and Phil in his escort.

Jason charged hard from the start but with a few minor errors half way through, his time was good but as it turned out just not quite good enough to live with Phil who stormed around to take the win and posted the fastest time of the day in the process. Well done Phil nicely driven.

So thanks again to everyone, who came along and had a laugh, and a big thanks to those who stayed behind just a little longer at the end to help us pack it all away, we would have been there all night if it wasn't for you guys.
